Part brand alchemist, part creative engineer.

Can you believe I began my career massaging seasoned travelers on cruise ships in Alaska?! Well, it’s true - I am actually a qualified health and skin care professional and I spent the first 4 years of my career working in world-class spas.

The 12+ hour long days, the camaraderie between an all-women workforce, and the pressure to meet super challenging schedule and financial targets fired my passion for business.

Surprisingly, this all comes in handy for website design and copywriting.

Like so many other women business owners, I accidentally stumbled into entrepreneurship because I loved what I did but craved the flexibility and freedom to be creative on my own terms.

I started my first digital marketing business in Dubai in 2015 with the vision to demystify digital marketing and help accelerate women entrepreneurs into the workforce. And I haven’t looked back since!

From simple styling and writing bio pages to full-blown subscription-based web designs and long-term business strategies, I am excited to bring your vision to life!

A little bit about me:

  • I am a former blonde turned redhead, and now back to my natural roots.

  • My accent is confused, but it’s mostly South African.

  • Lazy Sundays are my favorite, especially if they involve GF pancakes.

  • I use my business as a tool to support others while fuelling my love of words and pretty pictures

  • I am a research ninja - if I don’t know something, I will find out how and why.

  • I believe in the oxford comma.

  • And starting sentences with a conjunction!

Hi, I’m Lindi

I own The Ginger Jam and I am personally responsible for every piece of work I provide to my clients.

Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, I support small (mostly women-owned) businesses across the globe, including Dubai, the UK, South Africa, and of course the United States. I do this by uncovering your unique brand voice, designing kick-ass websites with built-in SEO, authoring personalized and captivating content, and getting you to look at the big picture for your new business.

I’m on a mission to help entrepreneurs communicate their value and overcome the intimidating obstacles of building a competitive online presence.

Every brand has a story to tell and I help clients find the best way to share their story using words and images to inform, engage, and delight their audience. Plus, I also deliver measurable results, have some of the most competitive rates out there, and you will enjoy working with me, I promise!

There is no request too big or too small. From simple styling and writing bio pages to full-blown subscription-based web designs and long-term business strategies, I am excited to bring your vision to life!

Things you should know.

I probably won't answer the phone.

Wait... What? Why? You're a solopreneur - it's suicidal to simply ignore customers and potential leads.

Exactly.

That's why I choose to focus 100% on each and every one of my clients. Distractions are unproductive. When I am working on your website, blog post, or logo design, I commit my full attention and creative energies into your brand. This means you are more likely to be satisfied with my work and I am able to deliver it on time.

But when we do chat, you'll probably hear noises...

Cats (I have 4), kids (I have a 5 and 1 year old), chickens, or some other indiscriminate sound. But rest assured, my full attention will still be on you and what you have to say!

As a rule, I don't work weekends.

I believe in balance; there's a time for work and a time for play. During the week, I have very irregular hours (mostly thanks to 2 super cute kids!) so I don’t follow a strict schedule. Sometimes I work into the wee hours of the morning, other times I hold a 9-5, but regardless I try to put my family first and carve out time on the weekends when we can all be together. However, occasionally I just feel inspired and I may get stuck into your project on a Saturday or Sunday - if you do receive an email from me over the weekend or after hours, I am in no way expecting you to reply, I simply want to be efficient and strike while my creativity is hot!

What about an "emergency"?

Thankfully, I don't work in a life or death situation, so any "emergencies" will simply have to wait. Sorry. But you can try sending me a text which I will use to reassure you that everything will be okay.

Plus, you will be surprized at how effective the "just sleep on it" method really is :)
